"BIG MIKE" is a native of NewOrleans,Louisiana.He got his start in music as a member of Houstons' "Rap-a-lot Records" underground group (The CONVICTS).Shortly after that project was released,he went on to work with (DR.DRE) in the early "DEATH ROW" days.He returned to the Houston Tx. to join the notorious "GETO BOYS"(Scarface&Bushwick Bill),and recorded one of the hardest hitting albums of its' time titled(Till Death Do Us Part). A year later BIG MIKE burst on the scene as a solo artist with his classic release titled (SOMETHING SERIOUS),a project that gave birth to 3 hot singles (Having Thangs,World of Mine,and PLAYA-PLAYA). BIG MIKE has also done many features,and performed on numerous compilation's & movie sound tracks. Movie soundtracks are as followed,(8mile, Dangerous minds, Panther, Sunset Park, and RIDE).Compilation's and features are as followed,(The Realest N----- Down South,"Scarface"- MY HOMIES,"8 Ball & MJG"-Top Of Da World, South Central Cartel -"Def Jam releases", & "Pimp C"-Pimpalation).BIG MIKE was also nominated for lyricist of the year at the "Source Awards" along side of (The NOTORIOUS B-I-G, NAS and REDMAN),other  works include (Hard to Hit,Still Serious) also two recent underground releases titled (Keep It Playa & Nawlins Phats).Be it past or present showings,BIG MIKE continues to entertain us with a realness to be respected
