Airklipz X Hazz - Make A Way
You have to go all the way back to February 2024 to hear these two seasoned heavy-hitters together. Their release 'High Livin' which was produced by Midas Cash is still one of Nyark's most streamed projects. Airklipz and Hazz now return with 'Make A Way', a six-track EP that once again highlights the undeniable chemistry between these two lyrical craftsmen. This is a project steeped in authenticity, full of real-life reflections, sharp flows, and an energy that is both uplifting and deeply grounded. 'Make A Way' was recorded all in one studio session at the Nyark HQ and from start to finish, Airklipz and Hazz both bring contrasting yet perfectly balanced styles... Airklipz with his sharp delivery and punchy cadence, and Hazz with his laid-back but razor-focused flow. Together they create an immersive body of work layered with emotion, wisdom, and raw hip-hop spirit. The entire project is powered by the exceptional production of CVGI Beats, who brings a crisp, soulful, and sometimes gritty soundscape that gives each track its own identity while keeping the EP cohesive.
The journey begins with 'X', a powerful opener that sets the tone with atmospheric production and heartfelt lyricism. Status The Marlboro Man ft. A-F-R-O "ATLAS"
ATLAS is the new single by Emcee/Producer Status The Marlboro Man & A-F-R-O. ATLAS caries vibes of the late 90S/early 2000s conspiracy rap of the time - but with updated themes. Listen as Status and A-F-R-O trade verses about secret American policies, racists politicians, genocidal wars, alien cover-ups, nazi-esque ICE raids, assassinations, and more. The theme and mood is sad and dark, but with an uptempo/head nodding beat.
The track is produced by Status The Marlboro Man on the Akai MPC 2000xl, giving the beat a warm and vintage feel. The name ATLAS has a double meaning: 1) Referring to the World's as a whole, ie an atlas.. and 2) Referencing the 600 yard long alien craft that passed through or solar system in late 2025. A fitting name for such an important song. The cover art is by Krookid Hooks and is inspired by poster art from 1950s sci-fi movies.
Status The Marlboro Man has been producing and releasing hard-hitting underground hip-hop for over 20 years. He has spearheaded the hardcore hiphop scene in Denver Colorado for years and promotes shows locally at his Italian bar and restaurant. He has worked with many artists such as Sadat X, REKS, Slaine, Son Doobie, Young Zee, Pacewon, El Da Sensei, Timboking, Big Left and more.
