Status The Marlboro Man "City's Cold Hearted"
CITY'S COLD HEARTED is a new single by Emcee Status The Marlboro Man. The song is written and produced by Status on the Akai MPC 2000XL. Don't be fooled by the uplifting piano melody, catchy chorus and radio friendly drum pattern - City's Cold Hearted is as hardcore as it gets.
After walking through the streets of one of America's fastest growing cities, Status began observing the harsh realities of the marginalized citizens. There were refugees with children begging for change and washing windows of passing by cars. There were homeless camps with as many as 100 inhabitants on many blocks. The upper crest either ignored the less fortunate or filmed them with their phones. Status documented these tragedies in a rhyme and quickly began writing City's Cold Hearted in his head.
Once the beat was produced it became clear that the song was catchy enough to hit the airwaves but with a very real message. The government is certainly to blame for the lack of resources and care. The problem grows and people moch those effected on Instagram and Tik Tok. Hopefully City's Cold Hearted can raise some awareness and rare kindness for those experiencing homelessness.

UFO Fev "Fast Life" (prod. by Fredro Starr of ONYX)
One location for the film would be the Thomas Jefferson Houses. Where an unlikely child & his grandmother stood watching as Fredro made his way through their neighborhood. Capturing this moment in the film as the child stands in the park watching.
Fast forward to 2024, that child has now grown to be Jefferson’s own UFO Fev. Named by Black Rob and connected to the Bronx Legend Fat Joe, UFO Fev now carves his own lane and reconnects with the actor/producer/artist that was filming his scenes that August day.
Strapped, the new album from UFO Fev, produced entirely by Fredro Starr, is as raw as the film. The connection between rhymes and sharp production makes the project cohesive and easy to enjoy

"Worldwide Slide" ft Ruste Juxx, Half Decent, Ms Laura, SoSoon & Duece Bug
To commemorate this epic run, 5 of the tour artists created the track 'Worldwide Slide' and filmed the video in Northampton, England on the Underground Grind Tour: UK feat. RUSTE JUXX + Full Blast Movement.
The video includes several England/London landmarks and footage from the show at The Black Prince, as well as a scene shot in their pub.

Underground Rap legend REKS (also known for his work with pioneers like DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Statik Selektah) teamed up with the Austrian Hip Hop label Soulchain Records for his new 6-track EP "Hidden Messages In Water" produced by Chill-ill, who also contributed all the scratches and the whole visual artwork.
This project is number #9 of his incredible release plan for 2024: #reksdrops33 - so many more releases by REKS are in the pipeline with different producers around the globe.
REKS once again proves his versatility on this Jazz and Soul-inspired record and gets further vocal support from the great singer Tiffany Paige, best known for her work with Universal Music Production, Talib Kweli, John Robinson, MF DOOM, Sadat X, J Rawls and many others.
Furthermore, the bilingual emcee and producer Napoleon Da Legend can also be heard on this new album - an absolutely essential MC in the modern Hip Hop landscape.
