LATE - What Ya Made (From The LATETRIX album)
Meeco & DJ Access "We Run Shit" (ft. Havoc, Inspectah Deck, Elzhi, Skyzoo)
Meeco and DJ Access, have been active in the music business for decades. Meeco working as a producer and Access rocking stages across the world as a DJ as well as running his own Hip Hop label NEW DEF. On WE RUN SHIT, it is the first time of them working together as a production team. Combining their long-standing experience, their different musical influences and their common love for Hip Hop, they have created a masterwork that not only pays tribute to the golden era but provides a classic Boom Bap sound updated with a modern touch.
The list of featured artists speaks for itself and is truly impressive – in fact it is hard to imagine any album today that includes performances of legendary rappers such as Havoc (of Mobb Deep), Inspectah Deck (of Wu-Tang Clan), Lil Fame (of M.O.P.), Fredro Starr (of Onyx) and Elzhi (formerly Slum Village). But the list does not end there, as Meeco and DJ Access have also invited hungry lions such as Skyzoo, Dillon Cooper, Termanology, Grafh, Dyce Payne and Fashawn to provide their album with a particular colour, making them clearly stand out from all other current releases.
Their sound is musical but always on point. Meeco’s beats, often made with the EMU SP1200, are mostly slightly-off, somewhere in between straight and swung, causing neck cramps from instant head nodding. Access’ cuts are state of the art and prove him to be one of the best DJs of our time. The title WE RUN SHIT can be taken literally as every single track of this double LP, including in total 13 songs, is worth checking out. Hip Hop enthusiasts better put Meeco and DJ Access immediately on their radar as they are making themselves a name as Germany’s new uprising producer team, and they are just getting started...

MC SHAN - THESE NI÷$#S TRIED TO HOLD ME LOW
Status The Marlboro Man - "I Hate You"
"I Hate U" - written and produced by Status the Marlboro Man is a dark and telling Boom-Bap Hip-Hop track. The brooding pianos and heavy drums lay way for three murderous verses. The no-nonsense hook says it all in three word - I HATE YOU.
The song dismantles the angst and anger felt towards world injustices, sneaks, rats and two-face liars. Every line is as poetic as it is just. From world hunger to scandals and defeat, we can all relate to the sheer destain for the despicable and unfair.
Play this song when you're boxing at the gym or hating your job. Play it loud when your local politicians steal and lie. Let your anger flow through every line Status spits and nod your head to the infectious beat. Status is no spring chicken and has seen many hardships in his 40+ years on this planet.
Hailing from North Denver Colorado, Status is a local legend and mentor to the Mile High Hip-Hop scene and abroad. Fans of true HipHop and independent music - do yourself favor and add STATUS THE MARLBORO MAN to your list of emcees carrying the underground torch. LATE - The LATETRIX (Produced By Tricksta)
Status The Marlboro Man - "Grandpa Joe"
"Grandpa J.o.e." by Status the Marlboro Man is an Akai MPC produced Boom Bap style Hip Hop track chronicling the life and relationship between Grandson and Grandfather. Italian-American Grandpa Joe and his Godfather-esque persona are detailed endearingly through the eyes of his thankful grandson.
The mysterious melody and heavy drums make heads nod with ease; while Status's deep voice and delivery paint a picture easily relatable to anyone who had a relationship with their grandparents. Though the subject matter is full of heart and truth, the track itself is as hard hitting as any street anthem or rap-battle track.
Denver Emcee and Producer - Status the Marlboro Man is known for making hard hitting lofi beats with tongue-in-cheek intelligent lyrics. Find this track and more on the Status produced album "IN TIME IT WILL GO: SIDE A" on all digital platforms.
