Eight years have gone by since Crown of Grim Reaperz blessed us with a new offering.
Since "Pieces To Puzzle" dropped way back in 2014, Crown has been chipping away at an array of production credits, all whilst recruiting Bask One of Beneath The Underground to release this 17 joint mammoth LP entitled UNDERGROUND CROWN.
Curated and executed by Bask One over an 18 month period, both Crown and Bask bring forth a well rounded line up of old and new school boombap lyricists from the East & Westcoasts, with over 50+ emcees flexing their lyricism over Crowns heavy, yet eclectic raw boombap beats.
Underground Crown clocks over 70+ minutes, with features from heavyweights: Tragedy Khadafi, Chris Rivers, Jay Royale, Rigz, Mooch, MAV & Rob Gates of Da Cloth, iLL Conscious, Da Buze Bruvaz, Mad Squablz, Shabaam Sahdeeq, DV Alias Khryst, Born Unique, UG, Ruste Juxx to name just a few.
They also have summoned some of the illest cut masters to complete the whole picture, including Snowgoons DJ Crypt, DJ TMB, DJ Robert Smith, DJ Venum, DJ Grazzhoppa plus many more.

Makeba Mooncycle - A Fool's Story produced by Buck Oner

Anarchy Records and Makeba Mooncycle presents the second single “A Fool’s Story” from her upcoming album "Just A Part of Me", production and scratches by French producer Buck Oner.
Makeba said on her “The Gibbous 2020” LP on one of the interviews that she wants to keep feeding them sharing more and more of what she has to offer. The kitchen is open and does not seem to be closing anytime soon. “A Fool’s Story" switches things up with to show her and Buck Oner’s versatility. The intro to “A Fool’s Story” is provided by Ms. Strawberry adding her sassy flare to this Hip Hop Love song.
Makeba continues with her intense flow and relatable incomparable lyrical content to add this song to her growing catalogue. Coming to all streaming outlets on March 23 with her video set to be released the same day. N.B.S. - "Hunh" prod. by DJ Tray (Official Video)
The accompanying video for “Hunh” was shot in N.B.S.’s hometown of Boston, featuring stunning aerial shots of the city and directed by General Gomez, who is best known for his work with El Camino, Black Soprano Family, 38 Spesh, Eto and Flee Lord.
The hard hitting, stripped down beat, produced by DJ Tray, could be classified as traditional boom bap but offers a modern feel. The DJ cuts, also provided by Tray, replace a hook and are reminiscent of the golden era, offering a reminder that sometimes you don’t need many words to convey a message.
N.B.S.’s “SwissVets 3” album is the threequel of their “SwissVets" series and also their third collaborative effort with Swiss producers Jakebeatz and DJ Tray.
The making of the album was initiated before the globe was hit by COVID-19 and had to be recorded across continents, with Jakebeatz holding it down in Switzerland and Flash in Cambridge. The initial connection between Boston and Basel/Switzerland came about in 2012, when N.B.S. and DJ Tray met at a gig in Barcelona/Spain, which later led to the founding of SwissVets. Only one year later, they released their first collaborative EP «SwissVets (Hot Dogs To Swiss Francs)» via Empire Music.
Now dropping their third album together, “SwissVets 3” was entirely produced by Jakebeatz and DJ Tray. This is the first of their collaborative albums which was not worked on together in person, but entirely online. This didn’t stop N.B.S. (Natural Born Spitters) from inviting a slew of talented guests onto the album, which features verses from Planet Asia, Recognize Ali, Snak The Ripper, Smilalively, H20 and Beast.
The album offers 13 tracks, with mellow joints such as the opener “iKept” featuring Cali legend Planet Asia and Recognize Ali, as well as murky cuts for fans of street-rap like “iReally” featuring H20 and the vivid “Cinematic”. You can hear E’ Flash and V Knuckles’ being inspired by legends such as Kool G Rap and Nas in their level of lyricism, which they always strive to uphold.
“SwissVets 3” will be released via Swiss label Empire Music on March 11th and was executive produced by Matt “MDB” Siegenthaler.

ONYX 'Ruff & Rugged' (Produced by Stasevich) (Official Video)
Onyx is talking it back to "1993" with the new album produced by Stasevich from Ukraine. This sound brings back that "1993" vibe in Hip Hop when bald-heads and timberland boots can be seen on every street corner.
After releasing "Bo! Bo! Bo!" the first single from the album "1993" Onyx is back with bad intentions on the second single and visual "Ruff & Rugged".

Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr are up to no good as they scream on the mic with that grimey flow from the first album "BACDAFUCUP" released in "1993".
With bangers like "Fight Da Power" they take the classic from Public Enemy and flip into their own grimey landscape of the United States Ghetto. The Joint "Just Slam" will have rap fans slam dancing for another twenty years as Onyx carries on their tradition from the classic record "Slam". Onyx rhymes are super grimey but the track has a good feeling. The joint "RuffNeck" makes your face turn mad as soon as you hear it!
The production from Stasevich is definitely taking it back to "1993" as he samples most of the rap artist in the early 90s. Even though original Onyx member Sonsee does not appear on "1993" on the joint "Heads up" there is a classic Sonsee sample as used in Jeru the Damager's "Come Clean".
"1993" was recorded in one day with no written raps, the album sounds like one long record to keep the consistency of the "1993" vibe. Just pop in the cassette and get ready to Slam!
Proceeds from "1993" will go to help support Ukraine in their time of need.
