It's designed to sound like their own old school radio station, CULT FM with lots of smooth transitions, beat switches and skits. It ties in with that sort of unpredictable feeling you get when you're listening to the radio back in the day, because every song is really different, you don't know what to expect once you dive in, but everything still meshes really well together.
The production is handled fully by Cult Encounters Co lead producer AllButtonsIn from Canada, who went all out with many dope beats that will get stuck in your head.

"In Good Company" by SoulRocca is a collaboration album by the Hamburg veterans Boogiedown Base and 12 Finger Dan, who have operated as Soulbrotha for many years, and the Munich producer Roccwell.
On this project the German production trio celebrates the classic Boom Bap sound with top-class features. Among others, the New York cult rapper J-Live was featured on the first single "Real Recognize Real". Q Ball & Curt Cazal aka QnC from the legendary D&D Studios in New York show on "Classic Position" why they are still relevant after more than 20 years in the game and the Boston MC M-Dot proves on "Toil" why there is a hype around his person in the underground.
The album is a homage to the many Rap classics of the last three decades but always remains fresh thanks to the contributions of talented artists such as DJ Eclipse, J57, Dro Pesci, Wildelux, Resolute or Empulse.
"In Good Company" will be released on December 2nd through Beat Art Department/Compost Records on all major digital platforms and vinyl.

"In Good Company" by SoulRocca is a collaboration album by the Hamburg veterans Boogiedown Base and 12 Finger Dan, who have operated as Soulbrotha for many years, and the Munich producer Roccwell.
Boogiedown Base has been a producer and remixer since 1993. In 2005 he met DJ 12 Finger Dan to form the production duo Soulbrotha. The two mainly produced for and with American artists such as Sadat X, DJ Premier, Large Professor, Big Shug, Blaq Poet, Masta Ace, Beneficience, Cella Dwellas, Edo.G and El Da Sensei.
Soulbrotha came in contact with the producer Roccwell from Munich by chance. Through the common love for soul samples, hard drums, the clanking of the E-MU SP-1200, dope raps and spectacular cuts, the idea of a collabo-album came up.
"In Good Company" is a celebration of the classic Boom Bap sound with top-class features. Among others, the New York cult rapper J-Live was won for the first single "Real Recognize Real". Rapper Mile & Producer Flip are breathing new life into the "one rapper, one producer" format, showing that this system often gives the best results. Flip, a veteran among Austria's producers who is appreciated by boom-bap purists as well as street rap fans, has been in the business since the 1990s. Rapper Mile has recently been in the spotlight with his indie and raploaded band project SHARKTANK. On their joint album "No Hard Feelings", the two deliver a timeless yet modern work that stands up to international comparison and oscillates between Hip Hop, R&B, soul combined with trippy elements.
Many Hip Hop albums these days exhibit some typical characteristics: they are packed with features and usually include numerous producers on a single track. This assembly-line oriented and algorithm-serving approach has become all too predictable in major label rap. Mile & Flip are less interested in exploiting the system than in bringing tangible Hip Hop culture to the streets. With this tried and tested style and their joint appearance as a classic rap MC duo à la Pete Rock & CL Smooth or Gang Starr.
Mile's moody lyrics are sometimes systemic-, sometimes self-critical, deal with hard times and real pain, grievances and pressure from outside, their own inadequacies, insecurities and envy, being a father, growing up and love - always with a pinch of irony, but the feel-good flavor is never completely lost. Mile vividly portrays what it means to grow up as a person of color in Austria, to have to deal with stereotypes and prejudices and to have to fight against them.
Mile, who had worked with several producers on individual songs, knew that he wanted to look for a more balanced approach in his next project. For this, only one name came into question for him: Flip - the producer he had been following since his first associations with the Austrian rap scene.
Danceable rhythms, consisting of samples, beat snippets and self-recorded instruments, combined with Mile’s voice floating effortlessly over Flip's soulful groove - the project springs from a seemingly, deceptively simple recipe, but the musical and thematic ingredients the duo brings to the table achieve a near-perfect blend when combined.
